Senator John Kerry turned down White House offers to receive briefings on the current terror risk assessment because he was too busy.
Last night on CNN’s Larry King Live, Kerry had this exchange (from Drudge):
KING: News of the day, Tom Ridge warned today about al Qaeda plans of a large-scale attack on the United States. Didn’t increase the – you see any politics in this? What’s your reaction?
KERRY: Well, I haven’t been briefed yet, Larry. They have offered to brief me. I just haven’t had time.
The GOP has been ridiculed in the press for suggesting that Kerry would turn a deaf ear toward terrorism. Turns out the press and the DNC were all wet: Kerry has already turned a deaf ear to terrorism.
